Instead of all this outrage directed squarely at the President (and no I don't think he has been perfect through all of this) why aren't Dems lined up by the hundreds or thousands at Senate Republican and recalcitrant Democrats offices all over this country demanding they represent their needs?
Instead of people being outraged and angry at the unemployment office in Kentucky where fights broke out earlier this week why not march on Senator McConnell's office by the thousands demanding that he extend their UI.
Folks don't want tax cuts for the wealthy then take it to your Senators and wage a protest at every "NO" Senators state office until you get what you want. Do this in addition to signing petitions and making phone calls.
I guarantee everyone that is upset with this President over a potential compromise with the Republicans that if the legislation without temporary or permanent tax cuts for the rich makes it to his desk he will sign it.
Where is our righteous indignation for the people responsible for making laws in this country? You know the people on the left and the right in congress who stand in the way of progress.
An entertainer can get 200,000 people to show up in Washington the weekend before a major election to ask for civility but we can't get 200,000 people to show up all across the US in their own State or district to demand that their Congressional Representative and/or Senators respond to their needs.
This President is indeed responsible for setting the agenda but he can't create one damn bill but our Congresscritters can.
Instead of our side just trying to make him (the President) do it how about we make them (Congress) do it first.
