Something is happening to Bill O'reilly for the better. While I still don't agree with him on a lot of issues, he seems to be speaking more responsibly lately.
Do you think that Bill O'rielly is feeling a little remorseful lately? He seems to be reporting more as an independent than a far right winger.
I must admit that I was a little surprised when he penned his unexpected ode to Obama.
Under a headline of "What President Obama Can Teach America's Kids," he cites examples from Obama's at-times difficult past to demonstrate how children can overcome adversity and illuminate what an inspiration the president is.
He says Obama's "breathtaking achievement presents five important lessons for all children:" Forgiveness, Respect, Persistence, and the notion that in America anything is possible.
I saw him on Fox a couple of days ago antagonizing Beck about the constant condemnation of Acorn. O'reilly said why pick on them---they are little guys.
Now, the whole health care endorsement. Is it me or do you think that Bill O'reilly has had an epiphany? I truly believe that after the Tiller murder, he felt a bit of guilt. After chanting Tiller the Baby Killer on the airwaves time and time again, someone finally took action, and everyone immediately associated O'reilly with the murder. That must have taken a piece of his soul.
1 Peace will not come out of a clash of arms but out of justice lived
and done by unarmed nations in the face of odds.
2 Democracy and violence can ill go together.
Evolution of democracy is not possible if we are not prepared to hear the other side.
3 A coward is incapable of exhibiting love; it is the prerogative of the brave.
4 Hatred never kills, love never dies; such is the vast difference between the two.
What is obtained by love is retained for all time. What is obtained by hatred proves
a burden in reality for it increases hatred.
5 Nonviolence is the greatest force at the disposal of mankind.
It is mightier than the mightiest weapon of destruction devised by the ingenuity of man
6 The weak can never forgive.
7 Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong.
8 What kind of victory is it when someone is left defeated?
These are all famous words from Gandhi, and I believe O'reilly got one of these messages while dreaming.
