So you lost a game.
Have you ever lost one before? Maybe in high school? Half of your team refused to shake hands at the end of the game. I hope any coaches you've had are filled with dismay. You may be young, but good sportsmanship is attainable by toddlers playing soccer. Are your mothers proud of you? Do they admire your trash talk after the game? Because to the rest of the country, you all seem like spoiled brats. You actually remind me of Violet from Charlie & the Chocolate Factory, demanding everything and getting everything. Then one day she doesn't get her way and inflates. Stop being Violet. There are winners and losers, your lack of grace in losing was juvenile.
Kentucky fans set fires and rioted because of a lost basketball game. I guess in Kentucky you can behave as badly as you want and be supported in your stupidity. Coming together in a crowd to console one another is a natural, human response. Committing crimes in the name of your team's loss is a great incentive for the rest of the nation to support the winners of that game.
On this Easter Sunday, I wonder how many of you claim to be Christian. I'm pretty sure Jesus would not approve of your behavior. I hope your pastors condemn your immature reactions. Most of us assume your coaches would have taught you not just to win, but to lose.
So Kentucky: Grow up already.
